The Story

A spirit of strength, by the sea.

The Fish is the silent purveyor of Tablas — the morning catch that fed the island, the silver glint under the banca at dawn. The Fish Room owes its name to this gentle abundance.

Soft cream walls, hand-finished hardwoods, and brushed-metal sconces give the room a warm, underwater silence at golden hour. Sliding glass doors open onto a sheltered terrace, where the sea breeze never quite subsides.

The comfortable bathroom — with a rain shower and crystal lamps above the sink — is a small, daily ceremony. Locally-crafted acacia furniture and turquoise accents evoke a sense of tranquility and a maritime aura.

We had a wonderful stay and truly perfect holidays. The food was absolutely delicious and prepared by an excellent cook. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made it feel less like staying in a hotel and more like being with friends.

If you are staying anywhere on the whole island, it is worth a trip to Binucot just for the food here. Everything is made with care — and the setting right on the beach is unmatched.

The resort is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Both of the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Located in front of Binucot beach, where you can relax, snorkel and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.
